Irit Baniel is a multidisciplinary artist based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Originally from Tel Aviv, Israel, she relocated to New York, where she pursued extensive studies in art and design.
Over the years, she worked as a designer and creative director for several leading fashion and beauty brands, and founded her own design agency. Throughout her professional career, Baniel remained deeply engaged with visual art, balancing her commercial work with personal creative practice.

Her enduring passion for painting and drawing ran alongside her design career; she consistently maintained an active studio practice and pursued ongoing studies in fine art, taking classes and workshops whenever possible. This lifelong commitment to artistic exploration ultimately led her to the New York Studio School, where she earned her Master’s degree in Painting in 2025.
